On the evening of April 14, 2008, Stephen Gott stood tall in his full Boy Scout uniform. As the weekly Troop meeting drew to a close, the scouts circled-up and Gott took his place in the center of the ring, stepping onto a simple pinewood box. Shaking the hand of his Scoutmaster, Paul “Gator” Crooks, Gott received the unyielding applause of the many scouts, leaders, friends and family (including his mother, Janet Burgess and his grandfather, David Noyes) who gathered to honor him for becoming the 250th Eagle Scout of Troop 374.

We have two high adventure trips coming up. This summer, we have a canoe trip to the Boundary Waters and in the summer of 2009 the trip is to the Philmont Scout Reservation.
